What is CBD

CBD is the major compound found in all cannabis and hemp plants. CBD or Canabidiol, is similar to the commonly known compound THC. However, unlike THC, CBD is non-psychoactive, so is safe for consumption.

So How Does it Work?

CBD is a phytocannabinoid; this is a type of cannabinoid that is consumed rather than naturally created by the body like endocannabinoids. And Where does CBD oil come from?

CBD oil is extracted from the Cannabis Sativa plants. The CBD compound is present in both the non-psychoactive cannabis (hemp) and in the psychoactive cannabis plant once the CBD oil is extracted from the plant the THC components are removed.
